Country Fire Service crews will be placed strategically around the Adelaide Hills fire ground as weather conditions deteriorate over the next three days, with authorities warning that any outbreaks will be difficult to suppress.

The CFS is particularly concerned about weather forecasts for Monday when temperatures are likely to hit 40C in Adelaide, with strong winds, ahead of a cool change.
The blaze, which was sparked on December 20, is now contained with no immediate threat to lives or homes.
It has burnt through 23,295 hectares inside a perimeter of 184 kilometres.
"The southern and eastern edges of the fire ground are a priority for firefighting operations ahead of expected increasing northerly winds by Monday," the CFS said.
"Crews will be strategically placed in and around the fire ground in anticipation of the deteriorating weather."
Mineral earth breaks have also been established between Tungkillo and Mt Torrens to prevent a rapid spread of any flare-up.
On Friday, about 150 firefighters and 31 fire trucks operated across the fire ground, with similar numbers expected over the weekend.
There are also seven aircraft available, including the Ericson Sky Crane and four water-bombing aircraft.
"Weather conditions for the coming days are forecast to be unfavourable and will result in elevated fire danger conditions," the CFS said.
"Outbreaks in these conditions will be difficult to suppress."
