When Wagga woman Alex Dawson heard about the new iPhone on Thursday, she was very excited.

The graphic designer has been an “iFan” since Apple first launched its iconic smartphone in 2008.
“I like the seamless flow between devices,” Ms Dawson said. “Everyone in my family has an iPhone, I always get the new one and they get the hand-me-downs.”
The iPhone 7 is being touted as the most powerful ever, a claim the company has made with each generation of the device. The latest incarnation has done away with a traditional headphone jack and the “7 Plus” will get a second camera, but it’s the promise of extra battery life that most excites Ms Dawson.
“I play a lot of Pokemon Go,” she said. “Better battery life would be awesome for me.”
